My name is Erika Stewart, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve as the Principal of Clinton Junior/Senior High School.
I was hired as a rookie teacher in August of 2008, to serve as a 7th grade Science and English Language Arts teacher. I maintained that role for nine years before being hired as an interim Principal in January 2018, and permanently accepting that role in July of 2018. I have also served many other roles during my time at CMS including; coaching multiple levels of volleyball and softball, working with students during an after school program to promote literacy and mathematics, advising student council, mentoring new staff, and leading our 7th grade PLC. I have thoroughly enjoyed working for and serving the students, staff, parents and community members of the Clinton Community School District and look forward to many more years!
