Hello Cougar families,

Happy Homecoming Week! 

Students, please be respectful during the homecoming festivities. Have fun and be safe.

Families, the mini parade will be at 9:40 on Friday. Please park in the parent drop off/pick up lot by 9:30. The main parade will be at 2:00. Your best view will be along Cross Street between East and Allen Street, or along Allen Street downtown between Cross and East Street.

7th and 8th grade students will walk to the Elementary school with their teachers to watch the main parade, then head back up to CJSH for the remainder of the afternoon. If you would like your student to be dismissed to leave and attend the parade on their own, or not return to school following the parade, please call the office to excuse them. High School students (9th-12th grade) will be dismissed to watch the parade on their own and will not be expected to return to CJSH unless they need to return to ride the bus home or get picked up. 

The football game starts at 7:00 pm, and the dance is on Saturday at CJSH starting at 7:00 pm.

As we close out September and head into October, there is a lot to be excited about at Clinton! Homecoming Week is here, and it is always one of my favorite times of the school year. It is a week that brings our school and community together and gives our students an opportunity to show their Cougar Pride.

Homecoming is about much more than a football game. It is about school spirit, creating memories, supporting our teams, celebrating our students, and coming together as One Team. One Mission. One Cougar Family.

As we celebrate throughout the week, I encourage our students to get involved, participate in the dress-up days, support their classmates, and help create an atmosphere that represents Clinton in a positive way. For our fans and community members, thank you for continuing to show up and support our student-athletes and activities.

October brings us into the heart of the fall sports season, and there will be plenty of opportunities to Come Out, Get Loud, and Show Your Cougar Pride!

Membership: Every student at CJSH is welcome to join FFA! FFA members need to complete a new membership form every year and pay $20 dues.  Dues should be placed in a labeled envelope and turned into Mrs. Kueter.  

Picture retake day is Monday, Oct. 12th. 

Photographers will be here between 8:00am to 9:00am for anyone wanting to have their pictures retaken. 

Join us for our first parent and athlete meeting Wednesday, September 30th at 6pm in the CJSH Commons. Even if you are not sure you want to join, please come to gain more information!

Join us for our annual fundraising scoopie night at Culver's October 6th from 4pm-8pm!

Throughout the 2026-2027 school year, our Work-Based Learning Coordinator will lead Clinton Junior Senior High students on numerous career exploration field trips. These hands-on opportunities give 7th-12th grade students valuable insight into various industries and career pathways.

By completing this form and granting consent, your CJSH student(s) will not be required to submit individual permission slips for every Work-Based Learning career exploration trip they wish to attend this year.

ECCP (EARLY COLLEGE CREDIT) or SCN (START COLLEGE NOW) Forms will be due to Mrs Kluge BY 9/25. Applications will not be accepted after 3:15 PM on 10/1.  Students needing forms may pick them up in the counseling office or schedule a meeting with Mrs Kluge via google calendar. 

Seniors the 27/28 Federal Financial Aid Form (FAFSA) officially opens on October 1st. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2028 (early applications are recommended). For more information please check the FAFSA website

11th Grade Students and Families,

If your student is interested in taking the PSAT during Fall 2026, please email Mrs. Kluge at kakluge@clintonwis.com to ensure they are registered for the exam.

The PSAT will be administered on a date to be determined between October 1 and October 30, 2026.

Please note that taking the PSAT is optional and is not a graduation requirement. There is an $18 testing fee, which is the responsibility of the student/family and is not covered by the district.
