CES Home

This will be my eighth year in the Clinton Community School District, and I am honored to begin my first year serving as the Clinton Elementary School Principal. I began my career in Clinton in 2019 as a middle school special education teacher and spent the last two years serving as the Behavioral Support Specialist at Clinton Elementary School. Prior to joining the Clinton School District, I was a special education teacher in the Janesville and Oconomowoc areas.

Early in my teaching career, I discovered a passion and skill set for leadership. I realized that I wanted to have an impact beyond the students and families within my own classroom. I had a strong desire to help create positive change across an entire school. That realization ultimately led me to pursue educational leadership and has continued to shape the way I approach my work today. I am passionate about building strong teams, supporting staff, and creating the conditions where both students and educators can be the best versions of themselves.

As Principal, my leadership philosophy is rooted in open and honest communication, collaboration, and trust. I believe the best decisions are made when we listen to one another, work together to solve challenges, and remain focused on what is best for students. I am committed to following through on my responsibilities, being transparent in my decision-making, and fostering a culture of accountability where we support one another in achieving our shared goals.

My commitment to Clinton Elementary and this community is deeply personal. I truly care about this school, the students and families we serve, and the people who make this community so special. I feel incredibly fortunate to lead a school that means so much to me, and I am committed to giving my time, energy, and heart to making it a place where every student and staff member feels valued, supported, and able to thrive.

I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and positive change for both our staff and students.

• My favorite school memory or moment: Being student counsel president in 5th grade and presenting our retiring principal with a garden bench in her memory!

My name is Jenny Hildebrandt, and I am excited to join Clinton Elementary School as the new Behavioral Support Specialist. I am thrilled to not only become part of this wonderful school district, but also to continue being a member of the Clinton community that my family and I have called home for the past 10 years.

This year marks my 10th year in education, with most of my experience in special education. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for building meaningful relationships with students, partnering collaboratively with families and staff, and helping students develop the skills they need to be successful.

My behavior philosophy centers on the belief that students need both connection and accountability to grow. I strive to create supportive environments where students understand expectations, take responsibility for their choices, repair harm when needed, and develop the skills to make positive decisions moving forward. 

I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff and am excited to support the positive, caring culture that makes CES such a special place

• A fun fact about me: My husband's family owns a dairy farm!
• My favorite school memory or moment: Leading the best buddies organization in high school, which helped me discover my passion for education.

Meet Cynthia

• My role at CES: Administrative Assistant to the building principal 

• I've been part of CCSD for: Since 2018, this is my 9th school year.

• The best part of my job is: I have always been afforded the creative freedom to design and create for the building, students, and staff. 

• Students can always come to me when: They need assistance or have medical needs.

• One thing I want every student to know is: You are surrounded by people who care about you.  

• My favorite hobby or activity is: As a mom of 3 boys I really enjoy watching them compete in the sports they love.

• A fun fact about me: I drove across the country with my children to see the ocean for the first time together. 

• My favorite school memory or moment: As a student at the former CMS building, I loved walking across the street during my study hall to read to the 5K during their milk break.  As a staff member, I loved having my son help me in any capacity for every event or activity I have planned for staff.

Meet Xochitl 

• My role at CES: Elementary Administrative Assistant
• I've been part of CCSD for: This is my first year as an administrative assistant but 6th year in the district
• The best part of my job is: Being able to see the students succeed and grow, not only in class but as individuals
• Students can always come to me when: When they need a trusted adult or any help 
• One thing I want every student to know is: Be curious, don't be shy to ask questions 
• My favorite hobby or activity is: In my free time I like doing any outdoor activity, my favorite is hiking
• A fun fact about me: I have seen over 75 musicians 
• My favorite school memory or moment: Having Mr. Simmons as my history teacher
