The Clinton Middle School English Language Arts department continues to build upon the core pillars of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The ELA department offers the opportunity for students to explore various forms of literature through literature circles, collaborative conversations and written responses. Students will continue to develop writing skills through exposure to multiple forms of writing and peer editing and teacher review. In addition, students will engage with various forms of nonfiction texts which include argumentative and informative.
