Careers On Wheels (C.O.W.) Day
Date for 2020 will be announced once school resumes. It may be postponed until 2021.
C.O.W. Day, as it is fondly referred, is an interactive learning opportunity for students at CES. Area businesses that utilize a vehicle for their job graciously take the morning off from their regular duties and bring their vehicle down to the school. Each vehicle is parked in the turn around in front of school so that the classrooms can visit each one. Students can be seen climbing through an ambulance, climbing up to see inside of a semi-truck, or simply peering inside of a hearse. Students are then given the opportunity to ask questions of the driver about their vehicle and career. This event is held every other year.
Thank you to the businesses and individuals who participated in 2018!
