Why Clinton?

The Clinton Community School District is committed to ensuring that all students receive a solid educational foundation in a safe environment which fosters and sustains lifelong learning. We believe in learning that is engaging, fun and challenging. We encourage you to thoroughly review our website, watch a video or visit our schools to experience all that we offer our children.

At, Clinton Elementary School a PBIS school of distinction where students are taught to be respectful, responsible and safe, you will see students engaged in Project Based Learning and supported with guided reading in addition to programming for talented and gifted students.

CMS also offers an exploratory band, German and Spanish language classes and art. Students who attend CMS are introduced to athletics, FFA, Student Council, Peer Mentoring and the Academic Quiz Bowl. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to attend 6th Grade Camp at Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center in Wisconsin Dells, the 8th Grade Washington D.C. trip, and a Japanese short-term exchange program.
